This is a great project to do with toddlers and preschoolers. Ellie enjoyed putting cheerios on a pipe cleaner, then hanging it out on the tree by our back deck for the birds to enjoy. The birds did enjoy it, and Ellie was able to refill it several times for them. We need to buy some new pipe cleaners and do this again. Josiah enjoyed the project as well... he munched on all the cheerios that Ellie dropped! Yes, I let him eat off the floor... I guess I'm one of "those" moms!! :)
