Ellie's Very Own Tomato Plant!

In the midst of all the work it took to start our big garden in the backyard, we bought Ellie her own Tomato plant to take care of. She enjoyed planting it with Daddy, and has checked on it and watered it every day. It is on the back deck so she can do it "by herself" (we're hearing those words so often lately!). It was so much fun to watch it grow, little yellow buds appear, little baby green tomatoes, and then to see them grow and finally turn red. Ellie has definitely learned a lot about planting and gardening this Summer - her parents have too!
