It's always exciting when the pool opens near my Mom and Dad's house. It's a great pool and never very crowded. We have been able to go several times this Summer and it's been so much fun. Josiah is all over the wading pool - he has no fear and doesn't mind the water getting in his face. Elliana is very timid about the water and will not allow it in her face. She is also scared of getting into the big pool. This Summer has been great for her - she has come a long way! We also discovered after several reactions that she is sensitive to chemicals in sunscreen. Her first reaction came up on our trip to Lora's wedding. After swimming at the hotel pool with sunscreen on the night before, the morning of the wedding she had a red rash on her face and neck. Our Doctor thought it was a food allergy but the same thing happened, only worse, the first time we went to the pool here at home. So, I'm so glad we figured out what it was!
